Collects high-precision point cloud data using a laser,
enabling non-contact measurement even in narrow and complex areas

Achieves precise measurement with an absolute accuracy of ±5μm and reproducibility of ±1μm

GlobeScan is a length measurement device that adopts the FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) method.
It collects high-precision point cloud data using a laser and can measure even narrow and complex areas without contact.

Precision Measurement

It irradiates a laser whose frequency changes over time, and measures the distance to the target based on the amount of wavelength change in the light reflected back. By measuring 10,000 points of point cloud data per second, it achieves highly accurate measurement with an absolute accuracy of ±5μm and a reproducibility of ±1μm, despite being a non-contact system.

Stability

Even in environments with fluctuating temperatures (10 – 35°C), the temperature compensation function allows for the measurement of a wide range of internal shapes, from a minimum of φ6mm up to 100mm.

Versatility

For difficult-to-measure inner diameters, switching the measurement direction via polarization allows both the depth and the side surface of the inner diameter to be measured without replacing the probe.
